Entrepreneurship - Marketing

The AHi Western Cape head-office, which includes its brand-new 24/7 call centre, was officially opened this morning, Friday 18 May, at Red River Centre in Arbour Road, Heatherlands.

Already on its opening morning, the call centre was inundated by calls when its number was announced on the RSG radio station while AHi MD Dr Willie Cilliers and a director, Christo van der Rheede, were being hosted on a talk show.

The call centre will be playing a major role in the AHI’s mission to provide expert assistance and much-needed support services to entrepreneurs. It is operating on a 24/7 basis.

Cilliers invited all self-employed entrepreneurs to join the AHi Western Cape. Membership gives them access to unlimited free advice, updated business information, membership to their local business chamber, and marketing opportunity.

The head-office houses the call centre, the research, coaching and training departments as well as marketing and communication department, ICT and finance.

Cilliers said the AHi aims to be inclusive and all self-employed entrepreneurs, even the smallest one-man businesses, are welcome to join. Their services focus on information and training initiatives, networking, promoting the local economy, and studies and surveys.
